Cooking & Food

M. could happily live on meat and potatoes all day long - and I genuinely enjoyed cooking alongside him and sampling every variation.
From his own style to make French fries to oven-baked potatoes and his signature potato salad, each dish had its own charm.
And the meat?
Whether grilled shishlik, savory kebab, or a juicy steak, it was a feast of flavors every time!

Coconut sorbet ice cream

M. always had ice cream in his fridge.
Here his coconut sorbet I decorated with
gluten free coconut crispy rolls from Thailand.

He kindly taught me how to prepare Arayes.
I tried it in a gluten-free pita and absolutely enjoyed it - it was a flavorful discovery.

Fetching food outside:

Falafel in gluten free Pita On April 6th, M. made a special trip with me to another city just so I could experience falafel in a gluten-free pita - something I’d never done anywhere but home. The taste was phenomenal, and the whole outing felt like a small adventure, unforgettable and full of flavor.

The April 9th, M. took me to a shawarma stand in his city that offered it in a gluten-free lafa. It was my very first time tasting it - and I loved it so much that I’ve started making it regularly at home.

M. generously drove me - twice - to a gluten-free bakery in his city, giving me the chance to indulge
in some truly delicious sweets unlike anything I’d ever found before. It was a rare treat, and I appreciated it deeply.

Pessach:

3kg of Entrecôte Entrecôte Entrecôte with rice and potatoes gluten free Malawach
I enjoyed the food on Passover, where we had to finish 3kg of delicious Entrecôte  with rice and potatoes. And the gluten free Malawach (kosher for Pessach), filled with cheese.

Home made falafel:

Home made falafel On 14th April M. prepared Falafel at his home,
that we ate in gluten free pita (kosher for Pessach),
together with potatoes and tomatoes.

I enjoyed it that much, that at my home I did it a lot of time too,  but it never tasted that good as in the original at M.'s place.
