Memories - Me & Myself

It was very nice of Meir that he took holidays extra for me that I did not have to stay outside
so many days and wait until he would turn back from work.
So in the end there were only two days left, where Meir had to work and there
I spent my time outside from early morning until evening.
On the 31st March I walked through the city the whole day and came across lots of interesting places.

On the 2nd April, Meir was so kind to drive me before his work to a big nature park,
where I could walk around the whole day.

Right in the early morning I had a scary, but insteresting experience.
As there were lots of ways to walk, it was dificult to decide which way to take.
So I decided to walk a little path where was no one else but me, when I suddenly
saw an animal coming straight towards me, from about 50 m distance.
I hasitated, because I first thought it was a dog without a leash.
(Before I saw already lots of dogs, but all walking on leash with their owners.)
But when I came nearer, I suddenly shrieked and thought "Oh no, it is wolf!"
Fortunately the animal went then into a bush and disappeared.
I decided then to go back to another way, that was more frequented by other pessengers.
Then I googled about if there are at all wolfs living in this area and of course there weren't any at all.
But it said it would be having jackals in this park.


And indeed, some minutes later, I passed another jackal, which was unfortunately laying behind a fence, but just totally quiet and directly looked into my camera.	And then I came to a place, where there were posters with instructions how to behave towards jackals.


Lots of time I could see a hoopoe, the national bird.	And many, many little green parrots, flying around and walking on the ground.

In the morning light I could take two selfies of me.

On the 3rd April Meir had to leave for a short trip of his work and so I stood two days in a hotel.
From there I walked to the nearby Ecological Park and spent some nice hours there.

I could also observe a religious mother doing a photo session with her children.

On the 5th April I had to wait in the lobby until Meir could pick me up.

There I was surprised by this view:

But later I learned it's a common behavior,
a soldier making holidays, has to take his gun always with him.
