Travel & Sightseeing
On the 30th March Meir chose a bus for us to visit..
Tel Aviv
On the way there suddenly was an alarm, so that the busdriver had to stop
and all passengers including himself went out to hide somewhere.
Coincidentally it was near the "Hostages Square".
So that, while we were going back to the bus, after the alarm ended,
I could make some rushed photos of the square:

Then we kept on driving with the bus into
the city,
where we all in all walked 9,7km in 5 hours.

On our further way we came across these spots:

After that we arrived at the beach, where we went towards Jaffa and had great view.

Then we arrived at the Jaffa port,
where we directly were welcomed by several Muezzins, who were singing
from different minarets all together, like in a canon.

Typical for
Meir, his nice kiddy humor.
He asked me a lot to move 1cm left,
then 1cm right and I all the time wondered what for.
Until I later saw that he montaged the star directly on my head!
After that we went up high
through the Peak Park in Old Jaffa and arrived
at the Gate of Faith.

On the 7th April we went by bus
to Jerusalem.
We drove about an hour and stopped at the entry of the city.
From there we walked hours long to the most interesting places in about 15km.
First we came to the Shuk:

On the further way we passed a
store where Meir
without hasitating jumped in to look for another interesting record for his collection:

The old City:
Arriving at the Jaffa Gate, a woman
played "Yerushalayim Shel Zahav" on violin,
which I filmed and coincidentally Meir is to hear, how he explained "This is
Jaffa Gate".

Again Meir showed his humor and montaged the menora above my head.
Wailing Wall / Western Wall:
At this wall, women and men have
separated departments.
Meir wore his kippa and went to the men's site.
While I examined the women's. But could also take a look to the men's site.
After that Meir took pictures of me standing before the wall.

Later we walked through the
Jewish quarter
with lots of arts and old music instruments:

After that, we passed a kiosk, and
without hesitation,
Meir immediately bought a lottery ticket to try his luck.
He even asked me to fill in some numbers as well.
